Who Am I?

My name is David Edwards and this is the web site of my Apple support and consulting business - m4mac.

I have been involved with Apple's Macintosh computer for almost thirty years and have been offering my services as an independent Apple specialist for over twenty of those years. My typical client (if there is such a person) uses their Apple products at home, either to run a business or for their own enjoyment, such as entertainment or a hobby. My clientele includes business consultants, artists, authors, designers, lawyers, journalists, retailers, art dealers, families and retired persons. Although based in Herne Hill, London SE24, I travel throughout London in the course of my work and on occasion beyond. I have clients in Hertfordshire, Berkshire and Kent.

What exactly is it that I do?

I solve your problems with your Apple hardware, software and related peripherals and accessories. My services run from basic tuition sessions through to troubleshooting and disaster recovery (that is when the whole lot crashes) and includes advice on what to buy, set up of new equipment, overhauling older machines, one-on-one bespoke tutoring sessions which address your needs and deliver practical advice on how to get the best out of your investment.

Data backup - a speciality.

I make it work, I make it productive, I make it fun. I show you how to get the most out of your computer investment. I have a sense of humour, patience, compassion for my clients' confusion about how those darn computer things work and on top of that - I even try to speak plain English.

And where do I do it?

In your home or office or on occasion, a coffee shop or a hotel. I do business just about everywhere the tubes, trains and buses venture. So whether you are in Bromley or Mayfair, Kentish Town or Richmond Park, Golders Green or Chelsea, Dulwich or Kensington, The City or Notting Hill, Hampstead or Belsize Park - don't be shy - call me.

When do I do all this?

My hours of business are flexible in order to fit with my clients' schedules. Weekdays, evenings, weekends, bank holidays.

In addition to the home visit, I do provide telephone and email support.

How much do I charge?
